Ride Batic Sea Route Copenhagen to Gdansk
You actually got 3 options to do Copenhagen to Gdansk - (or Gdansk to Copenhagen)
1. Copenhagen through Sweden (Google Sydkystleden) to the Karlskrona - over the Baltic Sea by ferry to Gdynia/Gdansk. Approx 400 km.
2. Same direction over Sweden, but to take the ferry Ystad - Bornholm - Sassnitz - Gdansk. Approx 600 km.
3. The long one. 900 Km Copehagen- Gedser - Rostock - Gdansk. This is the primary EV 10 route
Start your journey in Copenhagen and head south along Denmark’s scenic coastal and countryside paths - National no 9 and EV 7. Cross to Germany via ferry from Gedser to Rostock, cycling the EuroVelo 10 signed bikcycle route following the Baltic Sea coastline east. You will explore German towns, lush forests, and lakes along the way. Continue through northern Poland’s countryside, passing small villages, rivers, and farmlands before reaching the historic port city of Gdańsk on the Baltic Sea.
This tour combines coastal scenery, nature, and vibrant cities, giving you a full taste of Northern Europe from Denmark to Poland.

Enjoy a scenic ferry ride from Copenhagen towards Gedser, Denmark to Rostock, Germany, with views of the Baltic Sea. Before you leave Denmark, make a stop at the UNESCO area at Stevns Klint and/or Møns Klint, where you can marvel at the towering white chalk cliffs that rise dramatically from the turquoise waters below. What is it included?
Included in the price of a bike rental is:
- Bike repair kit (pump inlcuded)

What is not included:
- Panniers / bags
- Front bags
- Helmet
- Phone holder
What if my bike gets stolen?
While theft is rare on our tours, we recommend that you always lock your bike when not in use. Also we recommend you to park your bike in the safest spot possible. However, If you rent a bike, and it get stollen - you or your insurance company must cover the loss.
What should I do if I get a mechanical issue?
Together with the bike rental, we offer a bike repair kit. We assume you can fix a puncture yourself, in case of major issues, we either replace the bike or point you in direction of the closest bike shop, it's on us :)
What if the weather forecast is unfavourable?
In Denmark, cycling tours can be enjoyed in light rain, given you have the right clothing. During the summer months, afternoon thunderstorms are common, so it’s recommended to start your tours early in the day. If challenging weather conditions are expected, we will make every effort to adjust the tour schedule accordingly.
Cancellation Policy
It is possible to cancel a bike ride up to two weeks before. If cancel teo weeks prior to the rental day the customer is charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount. (bank transfer fee not included). To cancel you must e-mail info@onewaybiketours.com
